April 23, 2016:  Daily News Release

The following incidents were reported on Friday, April 22nd, 2016:

Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:

 

At 4:45 PM, Deputies, along with Monroe Fire and Green County EMS, responded to a one-vehicle crash on STH 81, at Iliff Road, Town of Monroe. Ashley D. Olson, 25, of Juda was eastbound on STH 81 when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the ditch where she collided with a sign post, guy wire for utility pole and phone box.

 

Olson was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to a local hospital.  Olson reported seatbelt use and the air bag did not deploy.  The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.  Olson was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of a Motor Vehicle and Operating Left of Center. Olson was released pending court.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 7:07 PM, Deputies responded to the N6800 block of CTH X, Town of Albany, for a one-vehicle crash. When deputies arrived on scene, the vehicle had already left the scene. A short time later, a Deputy located the vehicle in the area.

 

Investigation revealed that Isaac M. Lindert, 23, of Oregon, was traveling south when he failed to negotiate the curve and struck the ditch. Lindert reported a passerby removed his vehicle from the ditch. Lindert’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. Lindert reported not being injured and was wearing his seat belt. Lindert was cited for Too Fast for Conditions, Failure to Notify Law Enforcement of the crash, and Fail to Maintain Restraining Device of the vehicle (airbags). He was released pending court.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:

 

At 7:56 PM, Deputies responded to the N4300 block of CTH J, Town of Monroe, for a one-vehicle crash. Jarod N. Amacher, 18, of Monroe, was southbound on CTH J when his rear tire blew out. Amacher lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle struck the end of a guardrail. Amacher reported wearing his seat belt and the air bags deployed in the vehicle. Amacher was injured in the crash and was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital. The vehicle sustained very severe damage and was towed from the scene. The WI State Patrol assisted at the scene. The Green County Highway Department also responded to the scene.
