The following incidents occurred on May 5, 2016:
At 12:11 PM, Green County Deputies, Argyle EMS, Monroe EMS, Argyle Fire Department, Monticello Fire Department, UW Med Flight, and the Green County Highway Department responded to the N6300 CTH J, Town of Adams, for a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed Barry J. Bauman, age 41, of Monroe, was southbound on CTH J when the vehicle he was operating entered the west shoulder; Bauman overcorrected and lost control of the m/v. The vehicle traveled across the roadway, entered the east ditch, struck an embankment and overturned. Bauman and his passenger, Sara J. Horton, age 38, of Richland Center, WI, were not wearing seat belts and were ejected. The vehicle sustained very severe damage with no airbag deployment. Bauman was initially transported to the Monroe Clinic ER by Argyle EMS, but was later transported by UW Med Flight to UW Hospital. Horton was transported from the scene to UW Hospital by UW Med Flight. Bauman was arrested for Operate a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence-Causing Injury and cited for Failure to Maintain Control, Operating While Suspended and Failure to Wear a Seat belt. Bauman was released pending court.
At 4:12 PM, Deputies cited Dewayne P. Williams, 39, of Winslow, IL, in the W7600 block of CTH B, Cadiz Township, for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Driver’s License is Revoked. Williams was released pending court.
