The following incidents occurred on May 6, 2016:
At 3:02 AM, Deputies cited Micah M. MacDonald, 28, of Janesville, for Operate a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Driver's License on STH 59, near CTH SS, in the Town of Sylvester. MacDonald was released pending court.
At 05:01 AM, Deputies responded to the W6600 block of CTH H, Town of New Glarus, for a car vs. horse crash. Cory W. Krueger, 26, of Monticello, was westbound when he struck a horse that was on the roadway. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, without airbag deployment. The vehicle was driven from the scene. Krueger advised he was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. The horse, owned by Richard L. Righter, 68, New Glarus, received minor injuries.
At 3:48 PM, Deputies, Blanchardville First Response and EMS, responded to the W9300 block of STH 39, Town of York, for a motorcycle accident. A motorcycle, operated by, Glenn D Kellett, 56, of Marengo, IL, was traveling east on STH 39 when he lost control negotiating a curve. There was some loose gravel in the roadway, which caused Kellett to travel down an embankment before getting ejected from the motorcycle. Kellett sustained injuries and was transported to Monroe Clinic ER for treatment. Kellett was not wearing a helmet, but was wearing eye protection. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
