The following incidents were reported on Tuesday, May 31, 2016:
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:
At 12:41 AM, Deputies responded to the N1900 block of STH 69, Town of Clarno, for a one-vehicle vs. guardrail crash. Michaela L Snider, 18, of Monroe, was northbound and fell asleep while driving. The vehicle went into the east ditch and struck a guard rail. The vehicle sustained severe damage with airbag deployment. Snider advised she was wearing her safety belt and was uninjured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury:
At 05:26 AM, Deputies responded to the N2600 block of CTH M, Town of Jordan, for a one-vehicle rollover crash. Shawn J. Woodruff, 19, of Browntown, was northbound when he swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle entered the east ditch and slid down an embankment. The vehicle rolled over several times down the embankment before coming to rest on its wheels. The vehicle sustained severe damage without airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Woodruff advised he was wearing his safety belt. Woodruff sustained minor injuries and declined EMS.
