The following incidents were reported on Friday, June 24, 2016:
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:
At 11:22 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to the bridge at Argyle interchange STH 81 and STH 69 (South), Town of Monroe, for a report of a two-vehicle crash that occurred on the bridge.
A garbage truck driven by Anthony R. Frank, 46, Delavan, WI, was traveling south on STH 81 when a car driven by Harry L. Turner Jr., 86, Monticello, turned southbound from the STH 11 off ramp and collided with the dump truck.
No injuries were reported. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts. No airbags were deployed in either vehicle. Turner's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The garbage truck sustained very minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Turner will be cited for Failure to Yield Right Away from a stop sign.
Operate Without a Valid Driver's License:
At 5:26 p.m., Deputies responded to the area of STH 11 and CTH GG, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a traffic complaint. David A. Ethridge, 60, Monroe, was cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver's License, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ethridge was released pending a court appearance.
