July 11, 2016:  Daily News Release

The following incident occurred on July 9, 2016:

At 11:18 PM, Olivia M. Johnson, 30, of Brooklyn, was stopped for Speeding and Improperly Attached License Plate in the N8900 Block of STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus, by Deputies. Johnson was arrested for OWI 2nd, as well as cited for Operating After Revocation (OWI Related), Open Intoxicants by a Driver, Speeding, and Improperly Attached License Plates. Johnson was released pending court.
The following incidents occurred on July 10, 2016:
At 2:25 AM, Luis A. Zarate-Ramirez, 31, of Monroe, was stopped by Deputies for not having a valid driver's license on Allen Road, at STH 11, in the Town of Cadiz.  Zarate-Ramirez was arrested for OWI (1st) and cited for No Valid Driver's License (2nd). Zarate-Ramirez was released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 4:46 AM, Deputies, Blanchardville Fire and Blanchardville EMS responded to the N9600 Block of STH 78, York Township, for a one- vehicle rollover. Carla J. Gray, 28, of Mt. Horeb, stated she was southbound on STH 78 when a deer ran into the roadway and she swerved to miss it.  Gray lost control of the vehicle, entered the ditch, overcorrected, entered the roadway, overcorrected again, then entered the ditch sideways, rolled one time, and then came to rest on its driver's side. The vehicle sustained moderate damage (primarily to its driver side and rear doors), the air bags did not deploy, and it was towed from the scene. Gray reported she was wearing her seatbelt.   Gray was issued a citation for Operating after Suspension and released pending court.
OWI, Criminal Damage, Department of Corrections Probation Warrant & Child Abuse:
At 6:11 AM, Deputies and Monroe PD Officers conducted a traffic stop of Ethan D. Studer, age 20, (driver) and Matthew D. Siegel, age 18, (passenger), both of Monroe, in the 700 block of 30th Street, City of Monroe. Ethan Studer and Matthew Siegel were suspects in two separate cases; one for Criminal Damage to Property in the city and one for Battery/Child Abuse in the county. During the investigation, Matthew D. Siegel was arrested by Monroe PD for a Department of Corrections Probation (violation) Warrant and Criminal Damage to Property. Ethan Studer was arrested for Operating While under the Influence (1st) and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (1st). Ethan Studer was also cited for Unlawful U-Turn mid-block.  Studer was released pending court. Deputies later arrested Matthew Siegel on a Child Abuse charge. Siegel was jailed pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 7:04 PM, Deputies, Belleville Fire, and Belleville EMS responded to the N8100 block of County Hwy D, Town of Exeter, for a motorcycle crash. Jeffrey M. Phillips 35, of Verona, was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway, looking for a lost item. Phillips then accelerated rapidly as he got back onto the roadway. This caused his passenger, Sharina M. B. Orabi, 25, of Verona, to be ejected off the rear of the motorcycle.  Phillips then stopped the motorcycle. Phillips was not injured and he was wearing eye protection, with no helmet.  Orabi sustained injuries and was transported to UW-Hospital by Belleville EMS. Orabi was not wearing a helmet, but was wearing eye protection. The motorcycle was not damaged and was removed from the scene. Phillips was cited for Operating Motor Vehicle without Proof of Insurance; he was released pending court.
Domestic Abuse Incident:
At 9:14 PM, Deputies responded to a residence in the N6800 block of County Hwy E for a disturbance. Investigation resulted in Trent W. D. Kuebli, 23, of Albany, being arrested for Domestic Abuse - Disorderly Conduct. Kuebli was booked into the jail pending bond or court.
