August 21, 2016: Daily News Release
The following incidents were reported on Saturday, August 20, 2016:
At 1:30 AM Deputies responded to a disturbance that occurred at a residence in the W8200 block of State Hwy 11, Town of Cadiz. Investigation resulted in Douglas B. Scace 45, of Monroe being arrest for Bail Jumping. Scace was booked into jail pending bond or court.
At 2:22 AM Deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the N5300 block of State Hwy 69, Town of Washington. Investigation resulted in Brady J. Cullen 26, of South Wayne being arrested for operating while under the influence – alcohol, 1st offense. Cullen was cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, defective lights and operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance. Cullen was released pending court.
At 2:01 P.M. Deputies responded to motor vehicle crash in the W4800 block of County Hwy C., Town of Mount Pleasant. Preliminary investigation found that a vehicle failed to negotiate the curve, entered the gravel shoulder and collided with a mailbox before continuing further into the ditch. The vehicle was not observed during the crash and it is unknown how the vehicle was removed from the scene as well as extent of damage as the driver fled the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
At 3:50 P.M. Deputies responded to a traffic complaint in the N7500 block of State Hwy 69, Town of New Glarus. New Glarus Police assisted in locating the vehicle and stopping it. Investigation into the stop by deputies resulted in the driver, Victor S. Krueger 38, of McFarland being arrest for operating while under the influence – alcohol, 1st offense. Krueger was cited for; possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana (25 grams or less), operating left of center and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Krueger was released pending court.
At 4:31 PM Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Decatur Road at Race Road, Town of Decatur. Investigation revealed that a motorcycle operated by Ryan W. Rosheisen 44, rural Brodhead was westbound on Decatur Road when he lost control of his motorcycle while turning onto Race Road due to loose gravel. Rosheisen sustained minor injuries but refused treatment, he was wearing eye protection. The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
