The following incidents occurred on October 11, 2016:
Motor Vehicle Crash (Deer):
· Molly G. Campbell: W9400 Block of STH 81, Town of Adams
· Cheri M Dallman: N8500 Block of County E, Town of Brooklyn
· Samantha E. Werrline: W5100 Block of Town Center Road, in the Town of Clarno
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 2:10 PM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the uncontrolled intersection of Washington Street and Franklin Street, in the Village of Juda. Keith R. Ott, 61, Juda, was traveling south on Franklin Street when he collided with a vehicle driven by Jamie T. Schmid, 38, Juda, who was traveling west on Washington Street. Ott was wearing a seatbelt, the airbags did not deploy, and there was no injury. Ott's vehicle sustained moderate driver side damage and was driven from the scene. Schmid was wearing a seatbelt, the airbags did not deploy, and there was no injury. Schmid's vehicle sustained moderate front passenger side damage and was driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 8:14 PM, Deputies, Monroe EMS and Juda Fire Department responded to the W1400 block of STH 11, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a report of a vehicle vs. farm hay wagon accident. Evan M. Marchant, 22, of Brodhead, was operating a farm tractor, pulling a hay wagon that was loaded with baled corn stalks, traveling westbound on STH 1,1 and began to turn left into a driveway in the W1400 of STH 11. While turning into the driveway, a wheel on the hay wagon broke, tipping the wagon over onto its side in the middle of the roadway. After the wagon tipped over, Jeanne M. Riley, 69, of Monroe, traveling westbound on STH 11, collided with the hay wagon. Riley reported that she was not wearing her seat belt. Riley's vehicle sustained very severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene. The front and side airbags all deployed in Riley's vehicle. Riley was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER, and then flown to the UW-Hospital by Med Flight for injuries sustained from the crash. Marchant reported that he was not injured.
