October 30, 2016:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on October 29, 2016:

OWI/Bail Jumping:
At 12:41 AM, Deputies stopped Deanna M. Hoffman, 29, of Janesville, for speeding in the W1400 Block of STH 11, Town of Spring Grove. Hoffman was arrested/cited for Speeding, Operating After Revocation, OWI 2nd, Possession of THC, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.  Hoffman was jailed pending bond or court.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash (Deer):
Michael R. Kowsky:  STH 69 in the N7500 Block, Town of New Glarus
Ashton T Jelle:  N9500 block of CTH U, Town of New Glarus
Julie C. Smith:  N8100 Sandy Hook Road, Town of Brooklyn
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
 
At 10:52 AM, Deputies received an anonymous complaint of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Bethel Road and Bloom Lane, in the Town of Clarno. The vehicle had fled the scene. The vehicle had been westbound on Bethel Road and attempted to turn southbound onto Bloom Lane when it entered the ditch and collided with a Charter Cable Junction Box. The offending vehicle was located and impounded. It was determined that the driver was Tyler J. Swedlund, 18, Juda. Swedlund stated he was not injured, was wearing a seatbelt, and the vehicle sustained moderate damage. Swedlund was cited for Failure to Notify Police of an Accident, Operating Motor Vehicle While Suspended, Operating Motor Vehicle without Insurance, Operating Motor Vehicle with Cracked or Damaged Windshield, and Hit and Run Property Adjacent to Highway. Swedlund was released pending court.
