The following incidents were reported on Monday, December 5th, 2016:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 6:56 AM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash in the W2300 CTH C, Town of Brooklyn. When Deputies arrived at the crash location, the driver was not on scene. Deputies made contact with the driver, Melissa M. Everard, 33, of Brooklyn. Everard advised that at about 7:45 PM on the previous night, she was eastbound on CTH C when she lost control of her vehicle, due to slush and ice on the road, and struck a guardrail. Everard was not injured in the crash and was wearing her seat belt. The air bags did not deploy. Everard’s vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
At 8:28 PM, Deputies stopped a vehicle in the W1000 block of STH 11, Town of Spring Grove. Investigation resulted in Omar Garcia Venancio, 19, of Brodhead, being cited for Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed and Operating Without a Valid Driver's License. He was released pending court.
