The following incidents were reported on Sunday, December 19th, 2016:

 
CAR VS. DEER:
            Brandon D. Goznikar:  W3100 CTH KS
 
MV CRASH:
            At 7:19 a.m., the Green County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of CTH K and Five Corner Road, Clarno Township. Investigation revealed that Nicholas C. Maveus, 20, of Monroe, lost control of his vehicle while cresting a hill. Maveus’s vehicle then sideswiped a truck operated by Scott J. Paffel, 36, of Monroe. There were no injuries, both subjects were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, no entrapment or extrication, and no airbags were deployed. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Maveus was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.
 
MV CRASH:
            At 8:05 a.m., the Green County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash in the W3000 block of STH 92, Exeter Township. Investigation revealed that Stefan Smith, 47, was backing out of a private drive into the path of a vehicle driven by Dori S. McFarlane, 54, of Edgerton. Both vehicles collided, causing moderate damage to both vehicles. Both subjects reported wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported. McFarlane’s vehicles airbags deployed, but Smith’s did not. Smith was cited for Unsafe Backing.
 
MV CRASH:
            At 8:38 a.m., the Green County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash in the N4100 block of STH 59, Sylvester Township. Investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Thomas C. Smyth, 49, of Stoughton, was travelling westbound on STH 59 when he began to slow down to avoid colliding with vehicles in front of him. Smyth’s vehicle was then rear-ended by Johann R. Kleisch Jr., 17, of Evansville. Both drivers were not injured. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. No airbags were deployed, no entrapment or extrication occurred.
 
MV CRASH:
            At 9:21 a.m., the Green County Sheriff's Office to a one-vehicle crash in the N2500 block of CTH OK, Decatur Township. Investigation revealed that Bobby J. Neal, 34, of Brodhead, was southbound on CTH OK when she lost control and collided with a traffic sign. No injuries were reported to Neal or her juvenile passenger, No airbags deployed and no entrapment or extrication occurred.
 
VEHICLES IN DITCH:
            The Green County Sheriff's Office responded to seven other vehicles in the ditch at various locations in the county.
