The following was reported for Friday, December 30th, 2016:
CAR Vs. DEER:
CTH N, Township of New Glarus, Timothy C. Stechschulte, 54, Argyle, WI
Green County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle rollover crash in the W2300 block of CTH EE, Albany Township. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that a 1998 Lincoln Navigator had lost control on CTH EE, entering the dich and overturning. Once Deputies and Emergency Services arrived on scene, it was discovered that the driver had fled the scene. It does not appear that the driver was injured or ejected from the crash. The airbags did not deploy during the crash. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The case remains under investigation. If anyone has any information pertaining to the information on the subject driving the vehicle at the time of the crash, they can contact the Green County Sheriff’s Department or Crime Stoppers. Calls can remain Anonymous it they desire.
Green County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of CTH E and Golf Course Road, Decatur Township. Investigation revealed that Leigh A. Whitehead, 55, of Albany, was northbound on Golf Course Road; as Whitehead attempted to turn eastbound onto CTH E, she collided with a truck driven by Tony E. Zimmerman, 42, of Brodhead, WI. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts and were not injured. Both occupants were not trapped nor did they require extrication from their vehicles. Whitehead's vehicle’s airbags did deploy. Both vehicles received moderate to severe damage and were towed from the scene.
