The following incidents occurred on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017:
At 5:08 PM, Deputies arrested Jayden P. Diaz-Barnett, 19, of Monroe, in the 2600 block of 8th Avenue, in the City of Monroe, on a warrant through Green County. Diaz-Barnett posted bond and was released.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 6:09 PM, Deputies, along with Brodhead Fire and EMS, responded to a one-vehicle crash in the W1500 block of STH 11, Town of Spring Grove. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Brianna N. Mcintosh, 26, of Monroe, was westbound on STH 11 when she lost control on the ice-covered roadway. Mcintosh entered the south ditch where the vehicle overturned. Mcintosh was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated from the vehicle by Brodhead Fire. Mcintosh was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to a local hospital. Mcintosh was wearing her seat belt and the air bags did not deploy in the vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Leslie T. Moore, 30, of Monroe. Moore was wearing his seat belt. Moore was injured in the crash, but declined medical attention. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 6:28 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH B and Ullom Road for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a Cadiz Township plow truck, operated by Ernest M. Allen, 64, of Browntown, was northbound on Ullom Road when he failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign at CTH B. Allen then collided with a westbound truck on CTH B that was operated by Scott A. Foley, 45, of Browntown. Foley reported not being injured and was not wearing a seat belt. The air bags did not deploy in his truck. Foley’s truck sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Allen reported not being injured and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags did not deploy in the truck. The plow truck was not damaged and was driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 6:47 PM, Deputies responded to the W3600 block of STH 59 for a one-vehicle crash where the driver left the scene. An investigation revealed that Erin K. Tollefson, 46, of Monroe, was traveling west when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the ditch. Tollefson reported being uninjured and wearing his seat belt. There was no air bag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle had very minor damage and remained on scene.
Tollefson was cited for Operating after Revocation (Criminal) and was released pending court.
