The following incidents occurred on Sunday, January 16th, 2017:
Injury Crash (OWI Alcohol Arrest):
At 3:27 a.m., the Green County Sheriff's Office was notified of a crash that had occurred somewhere between Juda and the City of Monroe. After an extensive search, the crash was located at the intersection of STH 11 and CTH S. Investigation revealed that a 2010 Jeep was eastbound on STH 11 when the vehicle entered the ditch, crashing over CTH S and going down an embankment before rolling over. The vehicle received severe damage. The airbags were deployed in the vehicle and the driver had fled the scene. The driver was later located at a residence in the City of Brodhead and was identified as Adam J. Dundee, 35, Brodhead, WI. Dundee was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Dundee reported wearing a seatbelt and was not ejected. Dundee was trapped inside the vehicle, but was freed from the vehicle by another subject. Dundee was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense, Fail To Notify Police of a Crash, and Fail To Maintain Control. The crash is still under investigation.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
The Green County Sheriff's Office responded to CTH C and Studer Lane, Washington Township, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Nicole B. Jefferson, 25, Janesville, WI, lost control of her vehicle after hitting a patch of ice. Jefferson reported no injuries and she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The vehicle received minor damage and was towed from the scene.
