The following incidents occurred on Saturday, January 21th, 2017:
Crash with Injuries:
At 5:57 p.m., Green County Sheriff's Office, Brodhead Police Department, Brodhead EMS, and Brodhead Fire Department all responded to the area of CTH E and St. John Road, Township of Decatur, for a one-vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that Christy J. Jaggi, 58, of Brodhead, was westbound on St. John Road when she failed to negotiate the curve onto CTH E and entered the ditch, which was filled with water. During the crash, a traffic sign was broken off. The vehicle sustained minor damage and Jaggi received non-fatal injuries. The vehicle had leaked a minor amount of antifreeze into the water-filled ditch, at which time a Green County Conservation Warden was contacted and would respond later. No airbags deployed during the crash; no entrapment or extrication occurred. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Jaggi was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
