January 26, 2017:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on Wednesday, January 25th, 2017:

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 6:40 AM, Deputies responded to the N7700 block of STH 104, Town of Brooklyn, for a one-vehicle crash. Amanda J. Bjugstad, 42, of Evansville, was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the ditch, where she struck a fence post. Bjugstad was not injured in the crash and reported wearing her seatbelt. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 7:28 AM, Deputies responded to the W500 block of Dunphy Road, Town of Albany, for a rollover crash. Reggie W. Brewer, 38, of Albany, was eastbound when he lost control and entered the ditch, where his truck overturned. Brewer was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags did not deploy. The truck sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 8:14 AM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash in the N7000 block of Holstein Prairie Road, Town of Adams. Heidi R. Wackershauser, 39, of Blanchardville, was travelling south when she struck a tree that was down in the road. Wackershauser was not injured in the crash and was wearing her seat belt. The air bags did not deploy in her vehicle.  Wackershauser’s vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 8:29 AM, Deputies responded to W6200 CTH C, Town of Washington, for a single vehicle crash. Tyler N. Tipplet, 29, of Monticello, was traveling west on CTH C when he lost control of his milk truck due to the slippery road. Tipplet entered the ditch, where he struck a guard wire on a utility pole. Tipplet was wearing his seatbelt and the milk truck was not equipped with air bags. Tipplet was not injured in the crash. The milk truck sustained minor damage and was towed out of the ditch.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 1:44 PM, Deputies located a vehicle in the W3300 block of CTH EE, Town of Mt. Pleasant, that appeared to have damage when it went into the ditch. The driver was identified as Shaliko S. Harry, 19, of Monticello. Harry was traveling east on CTH EE when she lost control of the vehicle and went into the ditch. Harry was not injured in the crash and was wearing her seat belt. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene. Harry was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance and was released pending court.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 6:48 PM, Deputies responded to the N7100 block of CTH D, Town of Mount Pleasant, for a one-vehicle crash. Theodore D. Belanus, 70, of Brooklyn, was traveling south on CTH D, approaching the intersection at CTH C, went through the intersection due to the snow-covered road surface, and struck the ditch.  Belanus reported that he was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.  The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and the air bags did not deploy.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 6:56 PM, Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch at the intersection of CTH C and CTH J, in the Town of Adams. Riley J. Johnson, 30, of Monticello, was westbound on CTH C when she slid through the intersection and entered the ditch. Riley was not injured and she was wearing her seat belt. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained very minor damage and was driven from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 8:55 PM, Deputies responded to the N5900 block of CTH N, Town of Washington, for a single vehicle crash. Hannah E. Chugg, 23, of Monroe, was traveling south on CTH N when she lost control of her vehicle. Chugg entered the ditch, where she collided with a stop sign. Chugg was not injured and was wearing her seat belt.  The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle.  The vehicle did not sustain any damage. A tow company removed her vehicle from the ditch and then it was driven from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 10:15 PM, Deputies responded to the N2500 block of CTH GG, Town of Spring Grove, for a one-vehicle crash. Kelly E. Green, 55, of Monroe, was traveling south on CTH GG when he lost control on the snow/ice-covered roadway.  Green's vehicle entered the ditch, where it struck a mailbox and a tree.  Green advised he was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt. There was no air bag deployment in the vehicle.  The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
