The following incidents were reported on Monday, June 12, 2017:
At 2:40 AM, Deputies were called to a residence in the W7400 block of STH 39, in the Town of York, for a disturbance. After an investigation, Lessi Evonne Strahm-Stewart, 18, of Blanchardville, was arrested for Physical Abuse to a Child, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Damage to Property. Strahm-Stewart was jailed pending a court appearance.
At 1:15 p.m., Christopher A. Coleman, 44, Buhler, KS, was arrested on a warrant at the Green County Justice Center. He was jailed.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:
At 5:17 PM, Deputies located a vehicle pulling off the roadway westbound, in the W300 block of STH 11, in the Town of Decatur. Jacob K. Rousseau, 16, Juda, advised his truck got a flat tire that caused moderate damage and no airbag deployment. Rousseau reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.
Rousseau was cited for No Insurance, warned for improper registration of a vehicle, and was released with a court date. Rousseau drove the vehicle from the scene.
Operate After Suspension:
At 11:37 PM, Monroe PD received a report of a vehicle doing "doughnuts" in the parking lot of a business in the N2900 block of 18th Avenue, Town of Monroe. Green County Sheriff Deputies and Monroe PD Officers made contact with Andrew J. Turpin, 21, Darlington. Turpin was cited for Operating After Suspension and released with a court date. Turpin was warned for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
