The following incidents occurred on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury
At 6:32 AM deputies, Monticello First Response and Green County EMS responded to the W4100 block of CTH C, Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a 1 vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigation revealed that Joshua J. Miller, 26, of Belleville, was westbound when he lost control of his truck and entered the ditch where his truck overturned. Miller was not wearing his seat belt and the air bags did not deploy. Miller was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to the Monroe ER. The truck had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Miller was cited for operating after suspension, no insurance, failure to maintain control of vehicle, and possession of marijuana. Miller was released pending court.
At 1:00 PM deputies responded to the New Glarus Woods State Park, W5400 block of CTH NN, Town of New Glarus, for a criminal damage and theft report. Investigation revealed that the cash box at the self-registration was damaged and money was missing. Motor Vehicle Crash
At 2:12 PM deputies responded to a one vehicle crash in the W2400 block of STH 92, Town of Brooklyn. Investigation revealed that Corey N. Hesselman, 24, of Edgerton, was eastbound on STH 92 when he fell asleep. Hesselman’s vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a tree. Hesselman reported that he was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Hesselman was cited for inattentive driving and was released pending court.
