The following incident was reported on Wednesday, July 26, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 10:17 a.m., Deputies responded to the N9800 block of STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus, for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that a vehicle, operated by Becky S. Deegan, 48, of New Glarus, was stopped in traffic on STH 69 to turn westbound onto Spring Valley Rd. At this time, a semi unit, operated by Ronald C. Camron, 67, of Monroe, was traveling northbound on STH 69 when the semi unit struck Deegan’s vehicle. Deegan’s vehicle received moderate damage with no air bag deployment. Deegan was wearing her seat belt and did not report any injuries. A juvenile passenger in Deegan’s vehicle did not report any injuries and was wearing a seat belt. Deegan’s vehicle was driven from the scene. Camron’s semi unit received minor damage with no air bag deployment. Camron was wearing his seat belt and did not report any injuries. Camron’s semi unit was driven from the scene.
