The following incidents occurred on Saturday, August 26th, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 4:35 PM, Deputies, along with Albany Police Department, Albany First Response and Albany EMS, responded to the W600 block of Bump Rd., Town of Albany, for a one-vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigation revealed that Tyler K. Dassow, 23, of Beloit, was eastbound on Bump Rd. when he swerved to miss a raccoon in the road. Dassow lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch where the vehicle overturned.
Tyler Dassow advised he was wearing his seat belt. Forrest R. Dassow, 26, of Beloit, was a passenger in the vehicle and reported wearing his seat belt. Dustin J. Anderson, 23, of Beloit, was a passenger in the vehicle and was not wearing his seat belt. Lindsay G. Crouch, 23, of Clinton, was a passenger in the vehicle and reported no seat belt usage. All subjects were injured in the crash, but declined EMS transport. There was air bag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
Tyler Dassow was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and was released pending court.
