The following incidents were reported on Monday, September 11th, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:
At 5:27 p.m., Deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on the STH 11 westbound off ramp to STH 81, in the Town of Monroe. Brandon S. Richardson, 28, Monroe, was traveling westbound on the off ramp when he reported having brake failure. The vehicle then struck a stop sign, breaking it off at the post. The vehicle then continued across the northbound travel lanes of STH 81, through the grass median, into the southbound travel lanes, and back into the median, where the vehicle came to rest. Richardson reported wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
At 11:28 p.m., Deputies stopped and cited Kyle J. Deming, 21, Evansville, for Transporting a Child in the Truck Cargo Area, on Commercial Street at Hotel Street, in the Village of Brooklyn. Deming was warned for failure to carry driver's license on person. The juvenile occupants were released to their parents, and Deming was released with a court date.
