September 13, 2017:  Daily News Release

The following incidents were reported on Tuesday, September 12, 2017:

Warrant Arrest:

At 8:35 a.m., Kelsey Ann Wuethrich, 26, Monroe, was taken into custody at the Green County Sheriff’s Office for outstanding warrants.  She was jailed.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:

At 3:11 p.m., Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash, with no injuries, in the W8700 block of STH 39, in the Town of York. A vehicle, operated by Jennifer R. Wild, 18, Monroe, was eastbound when she left the roadway due to being distracted by her cell phone. Wild’s vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert, anchor line, and pole to a utility pole.

Wild reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Wild was cited for Inattentive Driving and was released pending a court appearance.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:

At 9:15 p.m., Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash, with no injuries, in the W4700 block of CTH W, in the Town of Exeter.  Eve A Palmer, 17, Belleville, was traveling westbound when the passenger-side tires entered the north gravel shoulder.  Palmer overcorrected, entered the south ditch, and traveled up a steep embankment before coming to rest.

Palmer reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. There was airbag deployment in the vehicle.  The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.  Palmer was warned for Failure to Maintain Control.

New Glarus Police assisted at the scene.
