The following incidents were reported on Tuesday, October 3, 2017:
At 11:13 AM, Deputies arrested Clark W. Schaller, 29, of Monticello, for a Wisconsin Department of Corrections – Probation and Parole warrant at 2841 6th Street, in the City of Monroe. Clark was arrested without incident and jailed pending Clark’s probation review.
At 11:29 AM, Juda School officials received information that a juvenile male possessed marijuana while on school grounds. School officials then notified the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies investigated the incident, located the suspected marijuana, and subsequently cited the juvenile male for Possession of Marijuana. The juvenile was then released to his parent with a court date.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 5:58 PM, Deputies responded to the parking lot of W5198 CTH C, Town of Washington, for a report of a motor vehicle crash where the offending vehicle fled the scene. Jessica A. Perez, 31, of Brodhead, reported her unoccupied vehicle had been struck while parked in the lot. Jessica’s vehicle sustained very minor damage and the air bags did not deploy.
Witnesses at the scene identified Sharon K. Lawinger, 40, of Blanchardville, as the driver of the offending vehicle. Deputies made contact with Sharon at her residence and she admitted to striking Jessica’s vehicle. Sharon’s vehicle sustained very minor damage and the air bags did not deploy. Everyone’s information was collected, but no citations were issued.
