The following incidents occurred on Thursday, October 12th, 2017:
At 5:55 AM, Deputies took a report of a burglary that occurred in the 400 block of W STH 11, in the Village of Browntown. Anyone with information on the case can contact the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 608-328-9400.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage:
At 8:05 AM, Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash where the driver left the scene in the N9600 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus.
Investigation revealed that at about 4:00 AM, Makayla Jo Krueger, 21, of Mt. Horeb, was northbound on STH 69 when she reported that she swerved to miss a deer. Krueger then collided with the guard rail and then went down a steep embankment. Krueger then left the scene. Krueger advised that she was wearing her seat belt and was not injured in the crash. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
Krueger was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of the Vehicle, Failure to Notify the Crash to Police, Hit-and-Run Property Adjacent to a Highway, Operate Without Proof of Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Krueger was released pending court. The New Glarus Police Department assisted at the scene.
At 5:02 PM, Deputies responded to a residence in the N7900 block of CTH E, Town of Brooklyn. A civil bench warrant had been issued for Patrick N. Flood, 59, of Brooklyn. Bond was posted for Flood and he was released pending court.
