The following incidents occurred on Saturday, October 14th, 2017:
Operating While Under the Influence:
At 12:48 AM, the Green County Sheriff’s Office received a traffic complaint on a vehicle in the N3800 block of STH 81, Town of Monroe. Deputies located the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Christopher S. Long, 44, of Woodford. Investigation resulted in Long being arrested for Operating While under the Influence (alcohol) 4th Offense. Long was jailed pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 6:35 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH FF and Ladwig Road, Town of Sylvester, for a one-vehicle crash with no injuries.
Investigation revealed that Aaron L. Lemon, 21, of Beloit, was eastbound on CTH FF when he reported that his vehicle started to hydroplane; he lost control and struck an embankment. Lemon was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
