November 03, 2017:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017:

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 12:48 PM, Deputies responded to the W7700 block of STH 81, Town of Jordan, for a two-vehicle crash.

Investigation revealed that Jasmine E. Neff, 32, of Argyle, was westbound and stopped in the lane of traffic to let a vehicle turn when she was rear-ended by a vehicle that was operated by Harley N. Douglas, 22, of Darlington. Neff was not injured in the crash and was wearing a seatbelt.  The airbags did not deploy in her vehicle. Neff’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Douglas was not injured in the crash and was wearing a seat belt. Both air bags deployed Douglas’ vehicle. The Douglas vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Douglas was cited for Too Fast for Conditions and was released pending court.

Warrant Arrest:

At 2:49 PM, Deputies arrested Zachery W. Jensen, 28, of New Glarus, at the Green County Justice Center, 2800 block of 6th Street, on a warrant that was issued by the Dane County Sheriff's Office. Jensen was jailed.

Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:

At 4:07 PM, Deputies responded to the N4900 block of STH 69, Town of Washington, for a car vs. deer crash with injuries.

Investigation revealed that Thomas S. Bonk, 77, of Monticello, was traveling when a deer entered the road and struck his vehicle. Bonk was wearing his seat belt. Bonk was injured in the crash, but declined medical attention. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
