The following incidents occurred on Saturday, November 18th, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 10:13 AM, Deputies, along with the Juda Fire Department, and Monroe EMS, responded to the W2900 Block of Mill Street, Town of Jefferson, for a single vehicle accident.
Investigation revealed that Erica N. Schmid, 35, of Monroe, was attempting to turn westbound on Mill Street, from County Hwy S, when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch, before striking residential steps and overturning. Schmid reported wearing her seatbelt and was injured in the crash and was transported by Monroe EMS to a local hospital. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle.
Justin D. Halvorson, 28, of Juda, was identified as the passenger. Halvorson was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage:
At 8:32 AM, Deputies responded to the W1000 Block of State Hwy. 92, in the Town of Brooklyn, for a one-vehicle crash with no injuries.
Investigation revealed that Amber L. Sies, 18, of Brooklyn, was traveling westbound on STH 92 when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch. Sies reported wearing her seatbelt and sustaining no injuries. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained undercarriage damage and was towed from the scene.
At 4:41 PM, Deputies responded to the 100 Block of S. Taylor Street, in the Village of Albany, for a verbal argument. Investigation resulted in Shane E. Baertschi, 38, of Albany, being cited for Disorderly Conduct. Baertschi was released pending court.
