The following incidents occurred on Monday, November 20th, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage:
At 12:34 PM, Deputies responded to the area of County Hwy. J and State Hwy. 81, in the Town of Monroe, for a hit and run crash.
Investigation revealed that a maroon over gray, Subaru station wagon, or similar style vehicle, struck a guardrail and immediately backed up. The station wagon then backed into a vehicle operated by Richard Strossner, 23, of Monroe. Strossner reported wearing his seatbelt and sustaining no injuries. There was no airbag deployment in Strossner's vehicle. Strossner's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
The station wagon fled the scene westbound on State Hwy 81. The station wagon should have severe front-end damage and the hood should be bent upwards. Anyone with information regarding the station wagon should contact the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
At 12:51 AM, Deputies responded to the 500 Block of 14th Ave., in the Village of New Glarus, for an Assault case.
The suspect, Naomi R. Balderas, 34, fled the scene prior to Deputies arrival. Anyone with information on Naomi’s whereabouts should contact the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
