November 26, 2017:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on Saturday, November 25, 2017:

Motor Vehicle Crash- Personal Injury:

At 6:51 AM, Deputies, along with Blanchardville Fire, responded to the N8900 block of Sunnyside Road, York Township, for a semi crash with minor injuries.  Investigation found that a semi unit operated by Eric G. Peterson, age 51, of Blanchardville, was traveling north on Sunnyside Road when he took evasive action to avoid some animals in the roadway.  The semi unit entered the ditch and overturned on its side.  Peterson reported minor injuries, but declined medical attention.  He reported seatbelt usage and no airbags deployed.  The semi unit sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash- Property Damage:

At 7:08 AM, Deputies responded to the 300 block of N. Mill Street, Village of Browntown, for a one-vehicle accident.  Investigation found that a vehicle operated by Mckenzie A. Scott, age 16, of Browntown, was north on N. Mill Street, lost control while negotiating a curve, and struck a power pole and phone box on the east side of the road.  Scott was not injured and reported wearing her seatbelt.  There was no airbag deployment.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash- Property Damage:

At 4:21 PM, Deputies, along with Monticello Fire, responded to the area of CTH C and Hammerly Lane, Washington Township, for a vehicle fire.  Investigation found that a vehicle operated by Travis R. Krychowiak, age 16, of Monticello, was traveling west on CTH C when his vehicle caught fire.  Krychowiak reported no injuries and seatbelt usage.  There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Domestic Abuse:

At 4:40 PM, Deputies, along with Monroe Police Department, responded to the W7000 block of STH 11, Clarno Township, for a domestic incident.

Investigation resulted in Nicholas D. Gille, age 39, of Monroe, being arrested for domestic-related Disorderly Conduct, Battery, Strangulation, False Imprisonment, Battery to Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting.  He was jailed pending a court appearance.
