The following incidents occurred on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 3:14 PM, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the N3300 block of STH 81, Town of Monroe.
The investigation revealed that Helen D. Stanek Cash, 60, of Argyle, was northbound on STH 81 and was slowing to make a left turn on to CTH Y when she was rear-ended by a vehicle operated by Evan D. Rossing, 24, of Blanchardville. Stanek Cash was injured in the crash, but declined EMS. Stanek Cash was wearing her seat belt, and the air bags did not deploy in her vehicle.
Rossing was not injured and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags deployed in his vehicle. Stanek Cash’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Rossing's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Rossing was cited for Inattentive Driving and was released pending court.
