The following incidents occurred on Monday, December 18th, 2017:
At 10:28 AM, Shawn W. Boss, 18, of Monroe, turned himself in at the Green County Sheriff’s Office on a probation warrant that was issued by Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections. Boss was jailed.
At 1:20 PM, Deputies arrested Jason R. Quintero, 44, of Monroe, at the Probation & Parole Office, 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe. Quintero was arrested on an active probation warrant that was issued by the Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections. Quintero was jailed.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 1:24 PM, Deputies, along with Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS, responded to STH 11 and Lumber Yard Road, Town of Jefferson, for a two-vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigation revealed that Georgia J. Grenzow, 88, of Monroe, was eastbound on STH 11 when a westbound vehicle, operated by Kay V. Gajdosik, 70, of Brodhead, attempted to turn south on Lumber Yard Road and collided with Grenzow’s vehicle.
Gajdosik was not injured in the crash and was wearing a seat belt. Gajdosik’s vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene.
A passenger in Grenzow’s vehicle was identified as Karen G. Grenzow, 56, of Monroe. Both Grenzow’s were wearing seat belts. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. Karen Grenzow was not injured in the crash. Georgia Grenzow was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to the Monroe ER. Grenzow’s vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Gajdosik was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way and was released pending court.
