January 23, 2018: Daily News Release
The following incidents occurred on Monday, January 22nd, 2018:
At 8:36 AM, Deputies responded to a residence in the W2900 block of Washington St., in Juda, Town of Jefferson, for a domestic abuse case. Investigation resulted in Kenya T. Wilks, 19, of Juda, being arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property, Battery, Theft, and Endanger Safety Using a Dangerous Weapon. Wilks was also cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wilks was held at the Green County Jail pending bond or court.
At 9:24 AM, Deputies responded to a Bail Jumping case in the 100 block of W. Main St., in the Village of Albany. Investigation resulted in Jose Luz Guzman Cabrera, 57, of Albany, being arrested on a Misdemeanor Bail Jumping charge. Guzman Cabrera was jailed pending bond or court.
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 2:56 PM, Deputies, along with Argyle Fire and Argyle EMS, responded to a one-vehicle crash with injuries in the N5700 block of County Hwy. J, Town of Adams. Investigation revealed that Brandy E. Crackenberger, 39, of Blanchardville, was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the ditch and struck a tree. Crackenberger was wearing her seat belt. Crackenberger was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to the Monroe ER. The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Crackenberger was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of Motor Vehicle and Operate a Motor Vehicle with No Insurance. Crackenberger was released pending court.
