The following incident occurred on Monday, January 22nd, 2018:
Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:
At 11:59 PM, Deputies, along with Albany PD, responded to a single vehicle crash in the N6700 block of STH 104, Town of Albany. Investigation revealed that Bryant S. Kauk, 24 of Albany, was southbound on STH 104 when he lost control of the vehicle due to slippery road conditions. Kauk reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018:
At 11:48 AM, Deputies stopped Taja Y. Iwanow, 37, of Monroe, on STH 69, at 8th Street, in the City of Monroe. Iwanow was subsequently cited for Operate After Revocation (Criminal) and Failure to Yield Right of Way. Iwanow was released pending court.
Operating While Under the Influence:
At 2:39 p.m., Deputies responded to a traffic complaint in the area of STH 69 and Holloway Road, Town of Washington. Deputies located a vehicle, with the investigation resulting in Stephanie A Hopkins, 29, of Madison, being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence 1st Offense. Hopkins was also cited for Operating with PAC greater than .15 and for Impeding Traffic by Slow Speed. Hopkins was released pending court.
