The following incidents occurred on Thursday, February 8th, 2018:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 7:42 AM, Deputies, along with Green County EMS, Monroe Fire Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol, responded to the intersection of STH 69 & CTH P, Town of Clarno, for a three-vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigation revealed Brian A. Jordan, 35, of Orangeville, IL, was northbound on STH 69 and was slowing down to turn west onto CTH P when he was rear ended by a vehicle operated by Andrew J. Turpin, 21, of Darlington. The crash caused Jordan’s vehicle to enter the southbound lane, where he collided with a southbound semi that was operated by Dewayne B. Morrison, 50, of Brodhead.
Jordan was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Jordan was wearing a seat belt and the air bags deployed in his vehicle. Jordan’s vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Turpin was not wearing a seat belt. Turpin was injured in the crash, but declined medical attention. The air bags deployed in Turpin’s vehicle. Turpin’s truck sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
Morrison was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt. The semi was not equipped with air bags. Morrison’s semi did not sustain any damage, but the semi-trailer sustained severe damage. The semi was driven from the scene, but the semi-trailer was towed from the scene.
Turpin was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Expired Registration, Failure to wear a Seatbelt, and Inattentive Driving. Turpin was released pending court.
At 11:50 AM, Deputies cited Christopher M. Kummer, 27, of Browntown, for Operate without a Valid License-2nd Offense at N1700 Mellenberger Road, Town of Cadiz. Kummer was released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 4:06 PM, Deputies responded to the N5700 block of Biggs Road, Town of Adams, for a single vehicle crash. Stephanie A. James, 16, of Argyle, was traveling north when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on the slush-covered road. James entered the ditch, where she collided with an embankment. James was wearing her seat belt and was not injured in the crash. The air bags deployed in her vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
At 8:32 PM, Deputies responded to a domestic abuse case at a residence in the W2900 block of Washington Street, in Juda, Town of Jefferson. Investigation resulted in Tyrnice Wilks, 21, of Juda, being arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Tyrnice Wilks was jailed pending bond or court.
Kenya T. Wilks, 19, of Juda, was arrested on a Felony Bail Jumping charge. Kenya Wilks was jailed pending court.
