The following incidents occurred on Friday, February 9th, 2018:
Motor Vehicle Crash / Hit-and-Run:
At 5:48 AM, Deputies responded to the N6800 Block of STH 105, Albany Township, for a hit and run accident. A southbound garbage truck was sideswiped by a northbound truck. The northbound truck then fled the scene.
The garbage truck was operated by Jeffrey J. Pagel, 48, of Waunakee. Jeffrey was not injured, was wearing his seatbelt, and there was no airbag deployment. The garbage truck was owned by Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc., from Monona. The garbage truck sustained damage to its left front sideview mirror and was driven from the scene.
The offending vehicle was described as a white utility or "work truck" type vehicle, with driver side damage. No other information could be obtained. Case is pending further information.
Probation and Parole Arrest:
At 9:16 AM, Deputies responded to the W300 Block of Conifer Court, Decatur Township, for a possible argument. Upon arrival at the residence, Deputies were able to hear a commotion inside the residence and investigated.
After a subsequent investigation, Melyssa D. Calwell, 21, of Beloit, was arrested for a Wisconsin Department of Corrections – Probation and Parole violation. Melyssa was taken into custody and transported to the Green County Jail without incident.
At 5:42 PM, Deputies arrested Jennifer L. Jones, 43, of Monroe, at her residence at 1522 Parkview Drive. Jones was arrested for a Green County bench warrant for Knowingly Operate While Revoked. Jones was taken to the Green County Jail, where she was held pending court.
