The following incidents occurred on Saturday, March 17th, 2018:
Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At 7:17 AM, Deputies responded to a crash in the W6000 block of Hefty Rd., Town of Washington, where the driver left the scene.
An investigation revealed that at about 2:00 AM, Antonio A. Blades, 47, of Monticello, was westbound on Hefty Rd. and failed to stop at the stop sign at CTH N. The vehicle continued westbound and left the road and struck some trees. Blades then left the scene. Blades was injured in the crash, but declined medical attention. Blades reported wearing his seat belt. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Antonio Blades was cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Deviating from Lane of Traffic and Failure to Notify Police of Motor Vehicle Crash. He was released pending court.
Investigation also resulted in Dana R. Blades, 36, of Monticello, being cited for Knowingly Assist a Person Fleeing an Accident Scene and Not Reporting the Crash. She was released pending court.
