The following incident(s) occurred on Sunday, February 07, 2010:
Drug/Narc Arrest:
At 12:46 AM, Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on STH 69, south of Advance Road, in the Town of Clarno. Investigation resulted in the driver, Kendrick M. Baker, 23, Freeport, being cited for Non - Registration of an Auto. A passenger identified as Danny A. Thomas Jr., 24, Freeport, was cited for Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. A third passenger identified as Xavier M. Brown, 24, Freeport, was arrested for 6th Offense Possession of THC. Brown was incarcerated pending court.
M/V Crash:
At 10:53 PM, Deputies responded to a traffic crash on Hughes Road, east of CTH D, Town of Exeter. Timothy W. Samelstad, 30, Belleville, was traveling east on Hughes Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the roadway and struck a tree. Samelstad was not injured in the accident and was wearing his seat belt. No air bags were deployed. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene
Snowmobile Crash / OWI Arrest:
At 4:16 PM, Deputies responded to the Monroe Clinic Hospital to investigate a snowmobile accident. Marielle V. Sebela, 26, Lyle, IL, sustained an injury while operating a snowmobile in Green County. Sebela was cited for Operating a Snowmobile While Intoxicated. Sebela was released pending court. Incident remains under investigation.
