The following incident(s) occurred on Friday, February 26, 2010:
Narc/Drug Arrest:
At 3:19 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CTH CC @ Exeter Crossing Road, Town of Exeter. As a result of the stop, the driver, Mark A. Cox, 25, of Oregon, WI, was arrested for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cox was also cited for 7th Offense Operating After License is Revoked and a citation for Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed. Cox was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending bond or court. A passenger in the vehicle, Brittany N. Mellem, 20, of Monticello, was arrested for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mellem was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcoholic Beverage. Mellem was incarcerated pending an initial court appearance.
M/V Crash:
At 5:12 AM, Deputies were dispatched to CTH J & Vogel Rd, Town of Monroe, for a traffic crash. Lisa K. Fairbanks, 51, Monticello, was southbound on CTH J when she encountered a deer crossing the road. Fairbanks swerved to miss the deer and the vehicle she was driving entered the ditch, and rolled onto its side. Fairbanks was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, and was towed from the scene. The airbags did not deploy.
