The following incidents occurred on Saturday, February 27, 2010:

TRAFFIC ARREST:

At approximately 4:28 PM, Deputies cited Roy A. Sauer, 59, of Madison, for Speeding and 1^st Offense Operating With a Revoked Driver’s License, OWI-Related, on STH 69, at Pierce Road, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant.  Sauer was released pending Court.

OWI / WEAPONS ARREST:

At 5:15 PM, Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on STH 92, at Legler Road, in the Town of Brooklyn.  Investigation into the stop resulted in the driver, Jason C. Brewer, 34, of rural Brooklyn, being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired and Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon.  It was reported that Brewer was hunting with a rifle while intoxicated.  Brewer was also cited for Mandatory Seatbelt Violation and incarcerated in the Green County Jail.

MV CRASH:

At approximately 6:16 PM, Deputies were called to investigate a report of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the cemetery off of Cemetery Road in the Village of Monticello.  It was reported that a vehicle had struck a post.  No further information was available at the time of this release and the crash remains under investigation.
