The following incident(s) occurred on Saturday, March 06, 2010:
OWI Arrest:
At 12:09 AM, Deputies stopped Kenneth C. Greve, Jr., 25, Darlington, for speeding on STH 11, near Cadiz Springs Road, in the Town of Cadiz. Greve was cited for Speeding, 5th Offense, Operating with a Revoked License, and 2nd Offense Operating While Under the Influence. Greve was released pending court
OWI and Warrant Arrest:
At 1:24 AM, Deputies located a vehicle in the ditch in the W100 block of Bump Road, Town of Albany. The driver, Dallas Ann Tourdot, 20, of Monroe, was arrested for 1st Offense Operating While Under the Influence of an intoxicant, Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, Underage Consumption of an alcoholic beverage and Failure to Maintain Control. A passenger in the vehicle, David L. Jamison, 36, of Darlington, was arrested on a warrant issued by Lafayette County for Child Support. Jamison was transferred to Lafayette County Sheriff Department.
At 4:27 AM, Deputies were dispatched to an address in the Town of Cadiz for a disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of James K Leopold, 52, Browntown, on a charge of Battery. Leopold posted bond and was released.
Snowmobile Crash:
At 4:43 PM, Deputies, along with Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS, responded to a snowmobile vs. truck crash in the W1500 block of STH 11 in the Town of Spring Grove. The investigation determined that a snowmobile operated by Michaela R. Schauer, 44, Brodhead, was travelling across a field when she reported the snowmobile would not stop. The snowmobile collided with a parked truck then the snowmobile then spun around striking a bystander. The snowmobile continued moving, colliding with a fence and coming to a stop, which caused Schauer to be ejected. Schauer was transported to the Monroe ER for injuries sustained from the crash. The bystander identified as Kevin Schauer, 9, Brodhead, was transported to the Monroe ER for injuries. The snowmobile sustained moderate damage from the crash. The truck received minor damage. Schauer was arrested for Operating a Snowmobile While Intoxicated and Causing Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Snowmobile. Schauer was also cited for Refusal to Take Test for Intoxicated Operation of a Snowmobile. Schauer was released pending court.
M/V Crash:
At 9:39 PM, Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on CTH J, just north of CTH A, in the Town of York. Investigation revealed that Dustin B. Winkers, 20, Mount Horeb, was northbound on CTH J when his vehicle collided with a raccoon. The vehicle sustained moderate undercarriage damage and was towed from the scene. Seatbelts were used, airbags did not deploy and there was no injury.
