The following incident (s) occurred Monday, March 15, 2010:
M/V Crash:
At 8:11 AM, Deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Dougherty Creek Road, in the Town of Adams. Cory Alan Burton, 16, Monticello, was southbound on Dougherty Creek road when he stated he swerved to miss a deer and then struck a tree, causing severe damage. Burton sustained injuries and was taken to get medical attention by private vehicle. Burton was wearing a seatbelt and there was airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene
